Some of the Sydney and NSW Catholic crew at WIPC:E Hawai'i 2014

After attending the WIPC:E Conference in Hawaii last year, and having an opportunity to meet up with Catholic educators from other parts of Australia and world, I thought it would be great to create a community of Indigenous Catholic educators. I would love to be able to find a space in Toronto in 2017 to do some informal networking - sharing ideas, experiences and opportunities. Perhaps a breakfast networking event? or lunch-time gathering.

As Indigenous educators within Catholic Education we experience specific issues that, as a group, I think we could address.

We have a closed Facebook group - Catholic Education at WIPC:E you can join, and if we get quite a few people I'll turn it into a page.
